This paper attempts to provides a distinctive contribution for the body of knowledge in study-ing the theoriticalmodels and factors affecting cloud computing (CC) adoption in higher educa-tion institutions (HEIs) at organizational level incorporating four dominant models; Technology–organization–environment (TOE) theory, The Fit-Viability Model (FVM), Diffusion of Innova-tion (DOI) Theory, and Institutional (INT) theo-ry; to deliver cloud-based education as a service (CEaaS) in HEIs.

Opinion mining or as called sentiment analysis, its study of public opinions, attitude, emotions, sentiment towards specific issues or targets computationally. People most likely prefer to discuss and express their own opinion or feeling publicly behind the PC screen through social media net- works such as twitter, Facebook, flickers…etc. This huge amount of opinions or sentiments that travel though social media networks everywhere give us important indicator to understand human behaviour and how it’s can predict the use satisfaction. Opinion mining/sentiment analysis consider one of the most active research sector in natural language processing, data mining, information retrieval, and Web mining. Recently, many re- searches have spread to wide spectrum areas like business and management sciences, political sciences and social sciences. This paper review will have proposed initial mining opinion model that would be first stage in improving recommendation and supporting system quality. This paper design as following, section one: An introduction, section two: method and the applied theories, section three an initial mining opinion model proposal, last section is the conclusion.

At-Thoyyib Inventory Management System is developed as an online system to facilitate inventory management that includes the entry and exit of goods in storage. The main purpose of this system development is to assist a inventory management for At-Thoyyib Shop that will be managed systematically and efficiently. From observations and interviews that have been made, the problem that has identified is, the system used in the At-Thoyyib Shop is managed manually. For example, if the inventory data were recorded using book, there are a few disadvantages that were, books is perishable, and a person can also make errors in recording the data in the book. The objective of this system is to develop a report module for data in and out of inventory and also to facilitate access of the information goods. The methodology that has been used in this developing system is waterfall model. The advantages of waterfall model are that it is easy to explain to users. Structural approach for this model of the activities of each stage and well defined. In addition, it also helps to plan and schedule a project. In conclusion, the inventory management system is developed to expedite the process of recording inventory information and improve the efficiency and accuracy to generate reports required by management.

Scientific experimental data are rapidly produced by researchers in various research domains. It is difficult to manage and organize different experimental data because of different data sources involved. There is a need to have a standard scientific experimental data representation so that data from different sources can be represented in a standard format. One effective way to standardize scientific experimental data representation is through ontology approach. Ontology can provides a controlled vocabulary of terms that will give a standard name to the parameters of scientific experimental data. In this paper, we focused on standardizing scientific experimental data from laboratory instruments. We explained the flows of the ontology schema design and shows some of the parameters in the proposed ontology schema for instruments experimental data.

Quality management system (QMS) and knowledge management system (KMS) are two management discipline that are widely used in organizations. The implementation and adoption of QMS is a continuous effort that helps organizations to improve their quality and performance. If adoption of QMS to improve organization’s quality, the purpose of KMS implementation in organization on the other hand as a platform and tools to support the management of knowledge activities. In view of the massive activities of knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and repository of knowledge within higher education institution (HEI), the use of KMS will provide greater benefits to stakeholders within HEIs. Past studies have shown that both management disciplines (QMS and KMS) have positive impact towards organizations in term of costs reduction, work performance and business continuity. HEI are also facing with challenges and obstacles because of the growing demand like any other organization. Some of the major challenges faced by HEI such as rising costs of tuition fees, growing number of competition among colleges and universities and introduction of new learning methods and technologies. The purpose of this study is to conceptually explore and identify the needs and potential integration between QMS and KMS within HEI. Based on the discussion and findings, this research provides future direction for more research on two-management disciplines.

This paper combines enterprise knowledge base and relational network to study its impact on innovation performance. It analyzes how the combination of knowledge base width, knowledge base depth, relationship network width and relationship network depth influence on the innovation performance of enterprises. The empirical results show that relationship network and knowledge base have a positive impact on innovation performance, “deep network-deep knowledge” and “wide network-wide knowledge” have a negative impact on innovation performance, and “deep network-wide knowledge” and “wide network-deep knowledge” have a positive impact on innovation performance.

Effectiveness and efficiency of ERP execution is depending on the organization implementation. Every company that embarks on ERP execution will definitely hope that the execution will be success and effective. The concept of Critical Success Factors (CSFs) early emerged in 1961. Many studies have been conducted in order to analyze on the most CSFs. Few only intended di-rectly to focus on organizational performance. A conceptual model will be developing to show the relationship between all the selected CSFs towards organizational performance in making sure the successful of ERP implementation in the organization. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) has been done in order to gain the CSFs. Completely target CSFs will be list out and traceability matrix table will be produce due to the priority of organizational performance. Pilot study has been conducting to proof the conceptual model suggest. A questionnaire has been distributed to 30 industry respondents. Results from this questionnaire survey than will demonstrate either the CSFs is really effect the successful execution of ERP in organizational performance or need to do changes based on the outcome. This paper proposes specific CSFs that influence directly to ERP execution success towards organizational performance. These will be very useful to organization in order to check on the organizational performance towards the successful implementation of ERP.

As more and more people are using the the social networks, they leave enormous amount of digital footprints of their personality available to them with every click. In this exploratory research, the publicly available data is collected from the biggest social network (Facebook) and sent to IBM Watson to reveal hidden personality traits that the posts and the profile pictures might contain. Watson is the name of the the cognitive computing system developed by IBM. It has several subsystems including the Personality Insights, that extracts personality traits from text and the Visual Recognition, that can be taught to analyze pictures. Firstly, the posts of Facebook users would be sent to Watson Personality Insights to get their Big5 personality traits, then their profile images and their personality traits will be linked to train the Visual Recognition. With a high number of input, the API probably could output the personality traits with high significance.

To study the problem of exponential stability control for a class of networked control systems with interval distribution time delays, a new approach is given to model the networked control systems with the stochastic time delays which is assumed to be satisfying a interval Bernoulli distribution. Based on linear matrix inequality approach, the mean-square exponential stability controller design method is presented, and the controller gain matrix is obtain by solving a linear matrix inequality. Moreover, a Lyapunov functional is used, and some stack matrices, which bring much flexibility in solving LMI, are introduced during the proof. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.
